Worship Banner - “We were made to worship Him....”

Calvary Houston Worship Ministries

Dear Worshiper,

Welcome to Calvary Houston’s Worship Ministries website. Jesus said in John 4:23, “True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” This website was established to help us do just that, a tool to help the worship leader to grow in their ministry and their own relationship with Christ Jesus, our Lord. Explore the site, take advantage of the resources, and participate as much as you can, getting the most out of what this site has to offer. Just so you know, we're still under construction so check back often to review the new resources that will be added to the website. We trust that your participation will only serve to make this site better and better. May the Lord bless you in your desire to worship Jesus and to lead others into doing the same.

The Lord’s best to you,

Dan Loaiza

  • Really Worshiping

I've been meaning to write an article on the role of the backup worship singer, which has since evolved into a few helpful hints for staying off my harmony, which then evolved into avoiding puffiness in worship, which never really went anywhere. So in lieu of all that, I wanted to share a few personal...

  • On The Block?

As a musician or worship leader at your home church, during the week you probably take time to review the upcoming Sunday songs and diligently practice, right? Well, let's keep it real... sometimes that doesn't happen until Saturday! During practice I often find myself in the middle of a spontaneous...
